TRAINING OVERVIEW


Even though Sunny is always continuously training, he always has a six week plan for each fight. The first two weeks will consist of light running of a total of 25miles a week. Followed by kickboxing training and from the third week onwards the training pace is picked up. This consists of early morning running, a total of forty miles per week, with a two hour work out in the kickboxing gym, which include’s circuit training, heavy bag work and anything from five rounds to twelve rounds of padwork come fight time. This is then topped off with sparring, which is done a total of five times a week. Other training methods Sunny incorporates into his routine include weight training, swimming and circuit training.
